I am a UX designer & researcher from New York.  I have had great experiences working with Zebra Technologies, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA), and Motorola Solutions. I am a proud graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego Human-Computer Interaction masters program.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Technical Content Specialist II, Zebra Technologies, JULY 2018 - PRESENT

  • Lead development of technical content in accordance with stakeholder needs for data capture and mobile computing devices such as tablets, scanners, and imagers that utilize RFID and machine vision functionality.

  • Lead development of user centered content design strategy to be implemented into the Zebra Technical Content lifecycle.

  • Lead benchmarking activities for insight on best in class companies within the data capture and machine vision industries.

  • Coordinate collaboration with electrical, mechanical, systems and software subject matter experts to ensure accurate content fit for a specific use case. 

  • Develop software tool tips for RFID sleds and Machine Vision applications.

  • Research competitor guides for benchmarking purposes. 

  • Design graphics and illustrations to demonstrate proper device utilization or technical data.

Remote Usability Tester, UserTesting.org, OCTOBER 2015 – JULY 2018

  • Conduct including cognitive walkthrough to identify potential needs to fit stakeholder requirements.

Lead Instructor, Engaging Creative Minds, JUNE – AUGUST 2016 

  • Led the instruction of 7-11 year olds in the construction of LEGO robots with simple machines, the creation of 3D video games utilizing Atmosphir and Unity software tools, and in the design of skins, the utilization of command blocks, and the creation of custom maps for the PC version of Minecraft.
